OUR STAFF:

Dr. Jiunn-Der Wu, President of East-West Development, Inc., earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from George Washington University. He then practiced as a research scientist at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. While at the Clinic, he was honored with an invitation to lecture in China from the Chinese government. Discovering the immense opportunities available in China during his lecture tour, Dr. Wu returned to the USA and established East-West Development, Inc. in 1980, primarily to specialize in the sale of medical equipment and pharmaceuticals to Asia. Later, EWD expanded its reach into consumer products, general merchandise and educational services. Serving as the President, Dr. Wu travels to Asia numerous times each year. He is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.

Nancy Gallowan, Vice-President of East-West Development, Inc. earned her B.A. in Political Science/International Relations from Ohio University. She has extensive experience in international sales and marketing, customer relations and export procedures. She is fluent in Spanish and is currently studying Mandarin Chinese.

William Jiang, China General Manager, Beijing

Mr. Jiang received his Bachelor of Supply Chain Management form Beijing Jiaotong University, China with high honors. He spent two years as the Sourcing Manager for COG and gained in-depth experience in supply chain and sourcing in various locations and product lines in China for COG’s major American clients. Mr. Jiang has traveled extensively in China and has established personal contacts with factory directors in many industries.

Daniel He, China Sourcing Manager, Beijing

Mr. He received his Bachelor of Management from the University of International Business and Economy, Beijing. He spent five years as the Marketing Manager for COG in charge of its marketing analysis and planning, revenue stimulation programs as well as business strategy and development. Mr. He was in charge of many American clients such as Lincoln Foodservice Products, Jackson Washing Machine, Nordson and Shell during

his tenure in COG.

Demi Hu, Manager, Guangzhou

Ms Hu earned her MBA degree from Macao University in 1995. In 1996, she started her business in the highway logistics and landscape projects. Through the business development, she had developed excellent connections with the Guangdong government officials and private business executives. With her personal passion for the fashion and garment, she had formed Alison Wedding Dress Company in 2000. Demi has extensive experiences in exporting wedding dresses, evening gowns, textiles garments, toys, gifts as well as other consumer products to overseas. Ms. Hu is familiar with all export procedures, quota and logistic issues. She is fluent in English and Chinese.

Mr. Shen Yong: Manager, Shenzhen

Mr. Shen graduated from Hua Zhong University of Science & Technology in Wuhan majoring in mechanical engineering. He had more than 15 years working experiences for the Chinese government and private industries.
